David Grover
For the past 13 years David Grover has been teaching photographers and creators how to get the most out of Capture One. Teaching online and in person around the world, David has made Capture One accessible to new and experienced users alike. He can be found delivering weekly livestreams on all aspects of Capture One, creating video tutorials or presenting in person.
David is well known for making the jump to Capture One a simple and enjoyable task and will soon get you on the road to making the most out of your images with Capture One.
With 17 years of experience in the industry, Carol specializes in capturing timeless, high-quality portraits that tell your story, whether it’s a playful family session, a powerful headshot, or an unforgettable wedding day.
Photography has been Carol's passion since childhood, but she turned it into my career after studying Digital Photography at Harrington College of Design. Since then, she has photographed countless families, weddings, and professionals, always striving for perfection in lighting, posing, and composition.
At DeAnda Photography, Carol's approach is simple: classic, clean, and timeless. No trendy filters, no gimmicks, just beautifully crafted portraits that let you shine. Carol takes pride in offering a stress-free, professional experience while making sure we have some fun along the way!
Beyond the camera, she is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), a dedicated educator in the photography industry, and an active member of PPA and PPANI. She has also earned her Master Wedding Photographer Degree through PPA, along with their Craftsmen Degree.
When Carol isn't behind the lens, you’ll find her teaching at conferences like Imaging USA, working out at Orange Theory, obsessing over cheese, or rocking out to Korn, Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco.
Based in Algonquin, IL and serving families, professionals, and businesses in the Chicagoland area.
Seth Miranda
Seth Miranda's career in photography has been as unique as his images. Having publications under his belt at age 15, he sculpted his lighting technique day and night in the fast-action world of BMX and skateboarding. With experience running the spectrum of all formats of film, experimental/older forgotten processes all the way to today's digital medium, his versatile style has been featured in DigBMX, RideBMX, Juxtapoz, MakeUp Artist magainze and Transworld media publications as well as billboard and print ads for agencies like Deustch. He has assisted legend photographers like Joe McNally on set and also been featured in galleries covering subjects such as punk and alternative lifestyles.
Seth has brought his skill set and experience to the studio to masterfully capture every vision and concept thrown at his lens by the Special Effects MakeUp artists in attendance having worked for MUD MakeUp Designory, MakeUp For Ever, MakeUp Artist Magazine, IMATS, and many more facets of the industry. In his quest for mastery, Seth has also pushed his cinema still style docudrama images outside the realm of photography and into other mediums as stenciling, resin cast, and screen printing. Today Seth Miranda is a content producer, host, edcuator and tech for Adorama and their various platforms
Gary Hughes is a commercial photographer and educator based in Winter Park, Florida, known for his clean and confident style of portraiture. Gary has spoken at Imaging USA, WPPI, CreativeLive, and events across the world, teaching practical lighting and business strategies to help photographers work smarter and create better images. His work has been published in Forbes, Rolling Stone, Guitar World, and more.
Jeff Carpenter
Jeff Carpenter is a commercial portrait, branding, and advertising photographer based in Franklin, TN. With over a decade of experience behind the lens, Jeff has established himself as a sought-after visual artist known for his laid back, yet professional approach to capturing and connecting with his subjects. His work encompasses a wide range of styles, from captivating corporate headshots to compelling lifestyle and fashion and fitness imagery.
Jeff's creative vision, technical expertise, and ability to connect with his subjects allow him to create photographs that tell a story and leave a lasting impact. He is adept at working with clients across various industries, helping them enhance their brand identity through impactful and memorable images.
In addition to his work as a photographer, Jeff is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and passion for photography with others. He is a respected educator who conducts workshops, seminars, and has taught at nationwide conventions such as Imaging USA and WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) for a number of years. He offers valuable insights into the world of portrait and branding photography with a focus the fundamentals of lighting and photography. His teaching style is engaging and accessible, making him a favorite among aspiring photographers looking to hone their skills.

Dave Kalmbach
Dave is an expert problem solver. After years of senior leadership in project management, and operating his photography business on the side, Dave jumped into running his studio full-time. Now, Dave and his wife Katherine lead the photography team at One Tree Studio in Toronto. They’re busy providing business headshots, event photography, and luxury event portraits, while raising their three beautiful daughters.
As well, Dave is the lead educator at Headshot Method, where he shares his knowledge, tools, and experience shooting for some of the biggest brands in the world. Photographers across several continents benefit greatly from his coaching. If you have taken any of Dave's classes in the past, you'll know that he doesn't hold anything back and delivers a wealth of knowledge in a helpful and approachable manner. Dave is also a co-founder of Headshot Tools, the first app designed to help photographers organize, shoot and deliver headshots for teams and events.
